Komona Govender has dedicated over 15 years to the medical aesthetic industry. After qualifying as a Somatologist with an ITEC qualification and gaining valuable experience abroad, Komona returned to South Africa with a focus on training and education within the medical aesthetics field. Her journey includes roles as a medical sales representative and key accounts manager for premium aesthetic skincare brands. Following this, she gained experience in the dermatological and aesthetic service industry. Combining all her knowledge, training and experience allowed her to hone her skills and launch her own Advanced Aesthetic clinic Komona opened her own aesthetic clinics in Glenvista and Sandton, expanding her offerings and elevating client care to new heights. Her passion for exceptional client service drives her to go the extra mile,
continually enhancing her knowledge through ongoing research and study, with a special interest in alternative treatments. In March 2023, Komona launched AryaVedic, inspired by the oldest and most comprehensive medicinal system. This innovative approach combines holistic and aesthetic treatments, reflecting her commitment to providing a well-rounded experience for her clients. As she embarks on this new venture, Komona remains enthusiastic about advancing her passion for training and education in the aesthetic industry.
