PRP
PRP – Platelet Rich Plasma
is a medical treatment that involves using a person’s own blood to promote healing, rejuvenation, and regeneration of tissues. The process harnesses the body’s natural growth factors, which are found in platelets (a component of blood), to accelerate healing and tissue repair. PRP is commonly used in various medical and cosmetic procedures, including hair restoration, skin rejuvenation, and the treatment of injuries.
How PRP works:
1. Blood Collection: A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient -Administered by Dr or Nurse
2. Processing: The blood is placed into a centrifuge, which spins the blood at high speeds to separate its components. This process isolates the platelets and plasma, creating a concentrated solution of Platelet-Rich Plasma.
3. Injection: Administered by qualified Aesthetitician. The PRP solution is then Microneedled or Turtlepinned into the target area, such as the scalp for hair restoration, the face for skin rejuvenation, stretchmarks, scars etc.
